Wins to the Cougars, Roos, Saints and Swans have them very happy to start the 2015 season.
In the match of the round the Cougars outclassed the Lions. The Cougars were led by Sam Banim who kicked 4 goals on a Best on Ground performance to lead the Cougars to a hardfought 29 point victory.
The Roos led at every change against the undermanned Bombers. The Roos destroyed the hapless Bombers with 11 goals from Chris Jackson to win by an impressive 128 points.
A classic encounter down in Lockyer Valley gave them great hope for what is ahead of them in 2015. The Demons ultimately lost the game but they were more then competitive and gave the 2014 Runners Up a real scare. Adam Bowater was the class above all the rest to be named best on as his Saints marched to victory by 27 points.
The Battle of West was just that, a battle. Both teams through everything at each other but it was Sam Rockcliff and Lachie Thomas who ran riot kicking 2 goals apiece that set the victory up for the Swans. They were able to hold on to win by 24 points.
