The 2015 season couldn't have started any better for the Swans, Tigers, Bombers and Saints as they won there respective matches.
Dalby showed they are the team to beat this year after their demolton job off the Warwick Redbacks. They dominated the match from the start and never gave an inch as the Redbacks could not register a score. The swans had 9 individual goal kickers to win by 125 points.
The Tigers maybe a new team but they showed they have what it takes to win it all by out gunning the Hawkettes. The Tigers ran riot with 9 different goal kickers led by Molly Cooper who kicked who kicked 5 in a Best on Ground performance. The Tigers contolled the match from the start to win by 136 points.
The Saints are also a new team that has entred the Womens competition but they showed they are more then capable to give the more established teams a run for their money. The Saints ahd complete control of the match and only let the Demons score in the last quater. They spread their goals among 7 different women to run out 68 point winners.
The match of the round and the best match of all 3 Senior Competitions belonged to the Bombers and the Roos. The game was played in finals like intensity as both teams showed they are once again ready to play finals footy in 2015. The game was a tough encounter with every inch hard earned. Souths were able to hold on to win by 5 points.
