University Cougars, Coolaroo Roos and Goondiwindi Hawks all started the 2015 season with a win.
In the match of the round the Grand-Final replay University got their revenge. The Cougars forward line is their strength and they were able to get the ball in deep to great affect. They contolled the game from the outset and lead at every change. R. Mackay was the dominat forward all day kicking a game high 7 goals to be named best on in a dominate performance. They ran away with victory to the tune of 42 points.
Arch rivals Coolaroo and Souths met yet again for a game that both teams were desprate to win. The Roos were the only team to turn up as they had a 26 point lead at quater time. Adam Green continued where he left off in 2014 to kick a gaem high 6 goals to lead up front. They controlled the match from the start and dominated the Bombers to the tune of 47 points.
The Hawks have started their 2015 campaign off in impressive style to run away in the last quater from the Tigers. The Tigers had the lead at quater time by 2 points and they kept going with the Hawks till the last change. The Hawks were able to kick 8 goals in the last quarter. The Hawks had 9 individual goal kickers to eventually run away with a 76 point victory.
