Wollondilly – 1st
After being beaten in the Grand Final last year against UTS, Wollondilly will look to go one better in season 2015. The Knights will look to use their experienced bodies again in 2015 to create pressure on their opposition and try to create turnovers. Last years Armstong Medallist, Daniel Hockey, will be the key player for the Knights and if he has another season like last, they will be premiership favourites.
Sydney University – 2nd
Sydney University will be looking to improve on last years Preliminary Final loss and will be one of the premiership threats in 2015. With increased numbers in the higher grades, Sydney University should once again be a consistent performer within the competition.
Campbelltown – 3rd
After a strong finish to the year and making a late charge to the finals last year, Campbelltown will be looking at finals football in 2015. If the Blues can bring that momentum from the end of last year into the start of this year, they could prove to be a premiership threat.
Camden – 4th
After being a finalist in the Division Five competition the last couple of years and nominating a new side in 2015, Camden have been promoted into the Division Four competition. If they can keep their more experienced players on the park and if their Division Two side can avoid injuries, they could be a force to be reckoned with in Division Four.
Moorebank – 5th
Moorebank’s reserve grade side will look to improve on last year’s five wins, and ninth place finish in 2015. The Magpies will be looking to find the form that led them to the finals in 2013 and a healthy list from them and their Division Two Team will help a lot.
Blacktown – 6th
The 2014 Division Five premiers will be looking to continue their success into the 2015 season. After finishing fourth and winning every final last year, the Magic will be confident they can repeat their success in a higher grade. A few handy inclusions for the Magic’s Division Two side will only improve their Reserves.
Randwick City – 7th
Randwick’s reserve grade side would of been disappointed in last years wooden spoon finish. Strong recruitment in their higher grade will see more depth for their ressies and a much more competitive season. A first round matchup against Moorebank this weekend will be a good pointer to where this team will finish in 2015.
Holroyd Parramatta – 8th
After missing last years finals on percentage, the Goannas will be looking to win more games early in the season to make a charge for finals football in 2015. Again some added depth in the clubs 1st Grade side will go a long way to assisting their cause. Could be one of the dark horses this season.
Manly Warringah – 9th
Another side who will be looking to improve on their 8th place finish in 2014. With their higher grades enjoying success over the last couple of years, the Giants Division Four side will be looking to enjoy some of their own this season. Added depth in higher grades will make spots in this side more competitive leading to a better output and a chance of finals action.
Southern Power – 10th
After enduring a tough season in 2014, the Power have been relegated to Division Four and will be keen to enjoy some wins during the year. They will need their more experienced players to play well if they want to be in finals contention. Somewhat of an unknown quantity at this level but should get their fair share of wins.
Macquarie Uni – 11th
Like the Power, the Warriors have been relegated after a couple of tough years in Division Three. The Warriors will need to improve significantly if they want to get away from the bottom of the ladder.
North Shore – 12th
With a few quality players said to be leaving the Bombers in the off season, their depth will be tested this year. After a fourth place finish in 2014, we are tipping the Bombers to drop away and will be battling to avoid the wooden spoon.
