MANLY Giants have a collective spring in their step after prolific tall forward Brayden Fowler recently signed on for another Weldon Oval campaign.
The 22-year-old had inked a deal with Frankston Dolphins in the VFL, but in the end couldn’t move away from the peninsula.
“I made the choice to head back (to Victoria) last November but as time went on, it became harder for me to say goodbye to the place that feels like home,’’ Fowler said.
“Deep down I wasn’t ready to leave the lifestyle that made me happy and love my footy again.
“I owe a lot to (Manly coach) Leigh Brain and the club for their patience and understanding.”
Manly’s quest for three successive AFL Sydney Premiership flags begins on Saturday, April 11, when they take on East Coast Eagles in Rouse Hill.
