The best of Eyre Peninsula's young talent will be on display agaist Norwood's more traditional Metropolitan side. All are playing to represent Norwood in the upcoming 2015 season.
Eyre Peninsula became Norwood SANFL Zone late in 2014. Port Adelaide was the previous SANFL zoned club, however with the removal of Port's participation in junior grades, all SANFL zones were revised. Norwood is a powerful club, having won the past three SANFL premierships, and traditionally strong in all grades, a big supporter base, and solid administratively.
The Country side will be coached by David Oatey (Under 18 Norwood Club coach), Ben Warren (Norwood Senior Coach) and Robbie Neill (Under 16 Norwood Club coach and Talent Development Manager). This is a perfect opportunity for the SANFL and AFL players of the future to show their mettle.
The team list and numbers are attached here for both sides, in what promises to be an entertaing contest.
Spectators are very welcome at Mallee Park Oval, which is located on the way to the Marina from Port Lincoln CBD.
Good luck to all involved, with a special notation to the Mid West players-: Lachlan McInnis (Western Districts), Jack Wilkins (Wudinna United), Guy Hutchison (Elliston), Brett Mc Comb (Central Eyre), Mitchell Gum (Wirrulla).
