Former Manly Warringah player, Tyrone Armitage, has starred in his first outing for the Northern Blues in Carlton's Intra Club last weekend.
The 2013 Phelan Medallist moved down to Victoria this season to play for the Northern Blues and to chase his dream of making it in the AFL. The below statement was found on the Northern Blues website:
New recruit Ty Armitage also impressed, finishing with two goals including the White team’s opening goal of the game.
On top of the two goals, Armitage’s tremendous chase down tackle on a marauding Dale Thomas in the second term epitomised the effort.
The Northern Blues will host there own Intra Club today where Armitage will look to impress again. Fellow former Manly Warringah player, Lachlan Kilpatrick, will also play in the match.
