Waratah State Cup - 18 Girls make grandfinal
Waratah Southern Junior League - Finals 18 Girls Win!
Congratulations to the Under 18W - Southern Junior League Champions 2015. Semi win by 7 against Mossvale, Prelim win by 34 against Goulburn, and Grandfinal win by 7 against Wagga.
Goodluck at State Cup in Gosford on 5-6 September
Under 16G also made the grandfinal unfortunately Goulburn were too strong.
Under 18B's ended up 4th after a loss in the semi.
Finals
Finals are on 22 and 23 August - the draw is on the NSW Basketball website
Under 18 Boys and Girls and Under 16 Girls have all made the finals. The Under 12 girls unfortunately missed out - but learnt a lot from the experience of playing the other teams.
Round 3
Was a tough weekend, with expected wins not quite eventuating for some teams.
Our 4 teams will play this weekend 25-26 July 2015 in the Canberra round. All teams have three games but we expect a clean sweep for the Under 18 Boys and Girls, and the Under 16 Girls and a win for the Under 12 Girls against Illawarra.

Cost
$280 per player – covers nomination, court fees, referees fees and administration cost for WJSL.
Payment in full due by 1 May 2015.
If payment is not received your child will be unable to play.
Does not cover accommodation, travel, food – these will be organized by your team manager/coach.
Training
Time - to be advised by coaches
Fee – $50 - if not already playing with Queanbeyan
NSW Registration is compulsory for all players – cost varies depending on age, see your team manager for information
Uniforms – shorts are compulsory. Other items available are warm up tops, socks, bags and hoodies. Order forms are available from the Office.
Parental Assistance is required at all rounds of WJSL to do the score bench, help with food prep, transportation and of course to be number one supporters.
