Macquarie University Resign Newman

2014 Macquarie University head coach Stuart Newman will once again lead the Warriors in 2015.

Newman was appointed head coach of the Warriors for the first time last year after years of playing for the club. After finishing eighth in 2013, Newman applied a strong enthusiast on defence and this allowed the Warriors to make the finals and only finishing one game short of a grand final berth.

Newman’s appointment follows on from the announcement of Macquarie University’s lower grade coaches with Dan Ranson and David Marsh to co-coach the Division Four side and Andrew Moylan taking the reigns of Women’s coach.

The Warriors will be looking to start their season off well with an away game to the newly promoted Sydney University side.
