Matildas and Brisbane Roar Westfield W-League star Amy Chapman will be a guest player for University of Queensland FC Women in the PlayStation 4 NPL Queensland 2015 Women's season.
Chapman, who has 20 caps for the Matildas and was a member of Roar's Westfield W-League 2011 Championship winning side , will feature for UQFC as part of her rehabilitation from anterior cruciate ligament reconstruction.
The 27-year-old will remain with the squad until early April, at which time she is scheduled to return to Brisbane Roar.
UQFC Women coach Wayne Gibbon welcomed Chapman's addition to his squad ahead of this weekend's season opener against Moreton Bay United Women.
"Having Amy on board at UQFC will provide her with an opportunity to step up her rehabilitation whilst gaining valuable game time," Gibbon explained.
"Having Amy around will expose our younger players to a player who has played at the highest level for club and country. That experience and knowledge will be invaluable for our players to see first hand what is needed to play at the top level," he added.
Chapman will also provide a mentoring role to UQFC's Under 13 and Under 15 Girls teams during her time with the club.
UQFC kick-off their PlayStation 4 NPL Queensland Women's season against Jets at University of Queensland Field 5. Kick-off is scheduled for 5PM.
