Olympic Down Jets In Pre-Season

Olympic FC continued their impressive pre-season form with a 3-1 win over Moreton Bay United in the Macron Cup at AJ Kelly Park on Saturday.
All four goals came in the first half as Olympic run away to a three goal advantage in the opening half hour, before Charles Mendy netted a consolation for Jets.
Michael Lee continued his early pre-season form, scoring for the third straight game to open the scoring on six minutes.
Tim Smits netted his first goal of the pre-season to double the advantage on the quarter hour before Rhys Meredith netted his eighth goal in five pre-season matches to effectively seal the win.
Olympic’s pre-season will continue on Tuesday, with two matches scheduled against Mitchelton FC in the Macron Cup and Logan Lightning in the BLK Silver Boot - the club is yet to officially confirm how they will manage the work load.
Jets will also be in action on Tuesday night in their next group game of the Macron Cup against Football Brisbane Trophy Superstore Premier League outfit Wolves FC.
