North Shore has announced that Gareth Lawson will be coaching the Premier Division side in 2015. Gareth coached the Division Two side this year and is excited to take on the challenge with the seniors. An astute tactician and thinker of the game, he comes with plenty of ideas to give North Shore a strategic edge next season; and an appreciation of what is required to succeed at the highest level of the game through his associations with North Melbourne and West Coast.
North Shore are also delighted to announce Jamie O’Dell’s reappointment as Under 19s coach. O’Dell’s commitment to the young Bombers has been exceptional; and to make it through to the Grand Final this season is a reward for the effort that Jamie and the youngsters have put in. Several of those players were introduced to senior football this year and there’s plenty to get excited about with their development in 2015.
North Shore will be announcing Lawson’s assistant coaches in the near future, as well as coaches for the reserves, thirds and fourths for the 2015 season.
