Randwick City Saints is pleased to announce Marc Dragicevic has been appointed Club coach for the 2015 Season.
Marc joins the club from the East Coast Eagles where he coached and played the past two years in their NEAFL side. Marc boasts a very strong footy background having played 6 years with Richmond notching up 48 AFL senior games (with 24 goals and a Rising Star nomination in 1999). He has also played for the SANFL club West Adelaide for 4 years and had player/coach roles with Tuggeranong Hawks (NEAFL) and St Albans (Geelong FL).
Club President, Andrew Blakemore commented "This is a great outcome for us, Marc was moving to the area and was keen to contribute to the further development of our community based club including strengthening not only the football structures in place but enhancing the links with our local junior club, the Maroubra Saints.
As we step up to Div 2 in the Seniors we are looking forward to Marc taking the club to the next level and build on the great coaching of Mitch Rose and Jeremey Grant last year when we snared the premiership. Pleasingly both Mitch and Jez will be continue to be involved around the club in 2015."
The Vice President, Football, Jeremy Grant added "We have started preseason with good numbers and the appointment of Marc is a further step in the growth and development of the club on the pitch".
