Following an extremely successful maiden year in the AFL Sydney Division 4 competition the Wollondilly Knights Senior Australian Football Club are seeking expressions of interest from people who might like to get involved in the club in either a committee role or coaching capacity.
The Knights are the only Aussie Rules football team located in the Wollondilly Shire. They currently field1 team but due to the growth of the club are looking to expand this to 2 teams over the next couple of years.
Through the help and support of AFL NSW/ACT, NSW Government, Wollondilly Council and Veolia Mulwaree Trust the Club have secured the funds necessary to build a brand new facilities building at their home ground in Bargo with construction scheduled to start early next year.
The Knights are a family orientated club with a strong sense of community between the players and their families. The club has close ties to the local junior AFL club the Wollondilly Redbacks.
The AGM is scheduled for Monday 17 November 2014 at Bargo Sports Club commencing at 6pm.
