FQ Confirm NPL Girls/Women's Licenses

Twelve clubs will compete in 2015 PlayStation 4 NPL Queensland Girl's and Women's competition, Football Queensland confirmed today.
The clubs will field teams in the Under 13 and Under 15 Girls divisions, as well as Youth Women's and Senior Women's competition next season.
A total 22 Expressions of Interest and 15 Formal Applications were received from clubs in South East Queensland in the application process.
The selected clubs cover a range of major population centres in South East Queensland, including Brisbane, Gold Coast, Ipswich, Logan, Redcliffe, Redlands, Sunshine Coast and Toowoomba.
The PlayStation 4 NPL Queensland Girl's and Women's competition is the elite player pathway for women’s football in Queensland, sitting one tier below the Westfield W League.
The clubs that were successful in their application for the competition, and their designated catchment areas, are:
- Palm Beach SC (Gold Coast)
- Souths United FC (South Brisbane/Logan)
- Redlands United FC (Eastern Suburbs)
- Eastern Suburbs FC (Inner City East)
- Olympic FC (Inner City South)
- UQ FC (Inner City West)
- The Gap FC (Inner City North)
- Moreton Bay United FC (North Brisbane)
- Peninsula Power FC (Redcliffe/Peninsula)
- Western Pride FC (West Brisbane/Ipswich)
- South West Queensland Thunder FC (South West Queensland)
- Sunshine Coast FC (Sunshine Coast)
Further competition details including the draw will be finalised and released in coming months.
