Tessa brings home Bronze

Swan Hills very own Tessa Lavey has helped the Australian Opals to a bronze medal at the FIBA World Championships for women. The Opals defeated the home country Turkey 74 - 44. The Opals dominated Turkey for all four quarters, a fantastic achievement in the absence of superstars Liz Cambage and Lauren Jackson. As one of the team rookies, Tessa had a positive impact in the Opals squad. A big congratulations to Tessa on her wonderful success.
