AFL Sydney Women's Team of the Year Nominees

The 2014 AFL Sydney Women’s Team of the Year will be announced in the week before the Women’s Division One Grand Final through the AFL Sydney website commencing Monday 8th September.

In a change from 2013, only Division One players were included on the list for the Women’s Division One coaches to vote on. Upon receiving all coaches votes, an independent panel will review this along with exceptional players within the Women’s Division Two competition based on form in the home and away season as well as the Representative program and can select any that fit the criteria.

All AFL Sydney Women’s Division One Coaches selected players in groups of defenders, midfielders, forwards and ruckmen. The coaches cannot select for players from their own team. The players who receive the most selections are then included in the Team of the Year.

The AFL Sydney Women’s Team of the Year will consist of 18 players plus four interchange.
