#DontGoQuietly
Coolaroo will be buoyant as they play Goondiwindi at the navy Roo's home ground Gold Park in the Women's Blackchrome cup elimination final on Saturday.
It will be a foreign experience for both sides as they make their maiden finals appearance in the AFL Darling Downs women's competition. Whichever side can settle their finals nerves the quickest, will give their side the upper hand in this big game.
Picking the winner is difficult even for the most experienced tipster. The Hawks and Roo's have gone head to head three times this season with each side recording a win and a loss, with the other encounter a 21-all draw at Bridgman Oval.
Though, the Hawks will take confidence from the last time they met where the Goondiwindi Hawks ran out 12.15 (87) to 1.0 (6) victors.
But don't expect the same score line this time around. The Hawks were bolstered by several key players from the top two clubs (Dalby & South Toowoomba) in that particular clash. This time around the Hawks will be on a more level playing field and will be looking to gain momentum from the get go.
Goondiwindi have played more footy in the last month, as the Roo's have had an unfortunate run of competition byes to end the home and away season.
However, that does mean Coolaroo stars like Jade Hose, Alarha Miller, Shonnie Skehan and Carrie Daley have had the opportunity to freshen up after a physical debut season. The Navy Roo's will need to be mindful of the Hawks weapons in Amy Hague, Rochelle Ellison, Breanna Bate and co.
Both sides match up quite evenly and that was evident in the round 4 encounter, with both sides at full-strength they split the points in the 3.3 (21) to 3.3 (21) draw.
Coolaroo's defensive structures are a lot strong than the Hawks, however the Goondiwindi offensive structures are stronger than the Roo's. This should be a good old fashion elimination final; with the side willing to play four quarters of football will progress to the preliminary final.
It is all or nothing in the Women's Blackchrome Cup, Elimination Final.

Game Changers
Coolaroo - Jade Hose: Her ability to play key position tall or play as a midfielder has her as one of the most damaging players in the Blackchrome Cup and the hardest player to match up on.
Goondiwindi - Bethany McLaughlin: Although she has only played limited games this season, her ability to intercept the football from opposition kicks and be a step ahead of her opponents is second to none. Sets up a lot of the Hawks attacking raids.
