AFL Sydney Rising Star - Round 17

The AFL Sydney Round 17 Rising Star nominee Jordan McPherson of Sydney Hills Eagles.

McPherson has been a strong contributor for the Eagles this year playing in 14 games and being named in the best 8 times.

Jordan has played the last three years in the Eagles Under 18 team and was apart of the Under 18 Division One premiership winning side in 2012.

McPherson made his Premier Division debut in Round 3 this year against Sydney University and since then has showed why he is one of the Rising Stars of the competition.

Playing mostly in the back half of the ground, McPherson rarely gets beaten in one on one contest while using providing plenty of run from the defensive fifty and getting the ball forward.
