AFL Sydney Rising Star - Round 16

The AFL Sydney Round 16 Rising Star nominee Spencer Krochmal of UNSW/ES.

Spencer is an excellent tap ruckman combined with his quick speed around the ground allows him to win the football at ground level as well as in the air. In stepping up from the U19’s Premier Division football this year Spencer has also shown his ability to take contested pack marks overhead against taller opponents.

Coach Daniel Lynch was particularly pleased the dying stages of Saturday’s close game against North Shore to see Spencer take several telling marks to hold back North Shores late charge for the win at Village Green.

The Bulldogs are really excited about how Spencer is developing and look forward to his continued improvement over the next few years.

He's been a great addition to the team this year as well as representing the Rams in the TAC.
