1. None of the three junior competitions top 4 are set for finals yet, final positions will shuffled over the two rounds as finals aspiring sides leave their premiership dreams in their own hands. However, it seems as if the Under 12's and Under 16 minor premiers are locked away with a three-way race for the under 14 minor premiership and bragging rights going into finals.
2. The under 14 Crows may have not had the most successful season on-field but several players have taken the next step in their young careers. Players such as Abdullah Haddad (University), Ash Britton (Lockyer), Tom Reardon (South Twba), Harry Claydon (Coolaroo) and Tyler Gilmore (South Twba) have taken the next step, with these 5 players now very influential players at their respective clubs.
3. Tom Clark is a goal-kicking machine; he put on another clinic on the weekend bagging 13-majors. This bag takes Clark's season tally to 70, which ranks him as the number 1 goal-kicker across the Darling Downs across all 6 competitions both junior and senior. With two games left in the season it is unlikely he will reach the magical 100 but you just never know.
4. Toowoomba Tigers under 12 Jack Briskey may just be the next Jeremy Howe, he has been snapped up on numerous occasions with a fantastic vertical leap but none more so than this footy we have found. Young Jack against Coolaroo in round 15, click here to see the photo.
5. The University Cougars photographer who took this photo of two young Cougars juniors celebrating at Baker Street may have just taken the photo of the year. Ultimate celebration of two team-mates celebrating is it a goal or a win, however all that matters is the smiles!
