Darling Downs will face the Redland Sharks in their final match of the 2014 AFL Brisbane Juniors Under 14 Division 1 competition.
Season 2014 hasn't been an overly successful season when it comes to results but the development program has played a key role in developing the regions next generation of stars.
AFL Queensland Regional Manager Keith Webb said,"Even though we haven't finished as high on the ladder as we have in previous years, we have been able to develop some of the regions next generation of stars."
"We have been able to develop key position prospect players this year, something the region hasn't been spoiled with in the past.
"This Under 14 group, has the potential to produce star division 1 senior players and quite a few players that have what it takes to play State football over the next 3 to 5 years," Webb added.
The Carmichael Builders Under 14 Darling Downs Crows will face the Redland Sharks who are sitting comfortably in second on the AFLBJ Div 1 14U ladder. Last time these two sides met was back in Round 8 with the Sharks running out 18.11 (119) to 4.1 (25) victors at Casheezi Park.
However this time the Sharks face the Crows at home at Rockville Oval and the Crows will be looking to halt the momentum of the bay side Brisbane side.
