The AFL Sydney Women’s Round 13 Rising Star nominee is Aziza Malas from Auburn Giants.
Aziza is easily the smallest girl in the entire women's AFL competition.
She is a little pocket rocket who runs hard at the ball. She is always up for the challenge when it comes to taking on a bigger opponent. She has developed into a key player in the backline.
On numerous occasions she has shown her team mates how to play with heart by shepherding, spoiling and getting her body over the ball.
Aziza has never played competitive sport before joining the Auburn Giants and has easily transitioned into the competition.
