Lockyer Valley Demons star Under 12 female footballer Madison Schroen is the Round 15 McDonald's Mini Legend.
Madison is just in her second year of Australian Rules and is loving playing for her beloved Demons every week. At just 10-years of age Schroen has already played 21 games of football but has never kicked a goal in the McDonald's Cup.
Schroen can be seen running off half-back for the 4th placed Demons and when she isn't, she can be seen with a smile from ear to ear, cheering and encouraging her team mates.
Madison is a key behind the Demons impressive defensive record this season and will play a pivotal role as Lockyer Valley close in on a finals campaign.
However, Schroen doesn't support any other football club other than Lockyer Valley and she wouldn't have it any other way. Quite nervous when receiving her award by Development Coordinator Jeff Neumann and when asked why she plays and who she supports, she was straight to the point.
"I just love playing," she said.
"The Lockyer Valley Demons," Schroen said on which AFL club she supports.
Madison and her team play Toowoomba Tigers this week at Cahill Park in Gatton and young Schroen can be seen wearing her favourite number, number four.
Well done to Madison on been awarded the McDonald's Mini Legend Award in round 15 for not only her ear to ear smile but her sportsmanship and encouragement on the field, for not only her team but her opponents as well.
