With four weeks left in the regular season. there's still plenty up for grabs in Division 1 AFLDD.
We had a look at each club's draw heading into the business end of the season and rated the difficulty. Each club is given a ranking between 8 and 1 based on their ladder position, points added for away games and each clubs average for and against taken into calculation. Once all this is put together, the rating system calculation gives each club a rating out of 8 for their run home.
The higher the score, the more difficult the draw.
Warwick - 1st | 12wins - 48pts
RUN HOME RATING = 6
Bye, Coolaroo (H), Bye, South Toowoomba (H)
With their two season byes to come in the last month of footy, the Redback's know that if they are to retain top spot, they must win both of their last games. They will have the advantage with the Round 17 and Round 19 fixtures at home but will be mindful that they won't easy victories.
Coolaroo - 2nd | 10wins - 42pts
RUN HOME RATING = 4
Toowoomba (H), Warwick (A), Lockyer Valley (A), Highfields (H)
The Roo's have one of the easier fixtures on their run to another finals campaign; they would pencil in 3 wins already and have a potential Minor Premiership showdown with Warwick in Round 17. With two games at home, expect the Roo's too boast their percentage and secure the all-important second chance come finals.
University - 3rd | 9wins - 38pts
RUN HOME RATING = 3.25
South Toowoomba (A), Highfields (H), Toowoomba (A), Lockyer Valley (H)
University will be pleased with their run home, rated the easiest of any side, the 2013 Grand-Finalists will have their toughest battle this weekend against the Bombers and from there it should be smooth sailing. However if previous results are to go by, the Cougars should record 4 straight victories and push for a top 2 finish at the regular season's end.
South Toowoomba - 4th | 9wins - 38pts
RUN HOME RATING = 6.6
University (H), Goondiwindi (A), Bye, Warwick (A)
With the hardest rating run home, including two road trips the Bombers will need to be firing if they are to play finals this year. Facing University away from Baker Street will keep the red and black faithful happy but trips to Goondiwindi and Warwick will keep the Bombers nervous. One of the biggest season defining runs you will see.
Goondiwindi - 5th | 7wins - 28pts
RUN HOME RATING = 3.6
Bye, South Toowoomba (H), Highfields (A), Toowoomba (H)
The equation is simple for the Hawks; to play finals they must win all three games. They will have their toughest match in Round 17 when they face the Bombers but if they can win this, then finals is looking likely. However, they must rely on the South Toowoomba to lose one of their three remaining matches as well.
.
Highfields - 6th | 4wins - 16pts
RUN HOME RATING = 5
Lockyer Valley (H), University (A), Goondiwindi (H), Coolaroo (A)
Highfields will go into this weekend's game as favourites but from there on in, they will be the underdogs. However the Lions will play a major role in the make-up of the Allied Pickford's Cup finals with two final bounds club and one aspiring to play finals. Highfields may just be the decider in who finishes where in 2014.
Toowoomba - 7th | 1win - 6pts
RUN HOME RATING = 5.25
Coolaroo (A), Lockyer Valley (A), University (H), Goondiwindi (A)
Tough run home for the Tigers, with one game they should win. The last month of footy will be a great opportunity to play their next generation of young stars. This season has been one about development and that is what the next month should be about as well.
Lockyer Valley - 8th | 0wins - 0pts
RUN HOME RATING = 5
Highfields (A), Toowoomba (H), Coolaroo (H), University (A)
It hasn't been an overly successful year for the Dee's but they have taken massive steps in their development and in particular over the last month. If they can continue that progression of improvement, then they may just win their first game of the season in the last month of 2014.
