Third AA for DD region
Former Coolaroo junior and 2013 Darling Downs Crows Captain, Brendan Shelton has been named in the 2014 Under 15 School-Boys All Australian side after an impressive National championships for Queensland.
Shelton played his best game of the Championships against Western Australia, as the 15-year old help Queensland reach the Grand-Final against Victoria.
Unfortunately Queensland went down to the powerhouse state by 11-points but the maroon and white students took a massive step forward in showing what Queensland is capable of.
The Queensland school-boys went through the round-robin stages undefeated, beating the likes New South Wales, Western Australia, Northern Territory and South Australia.
Fellow DD students Brock Aston and Will Shelton were also consistent contributors for Queensland throughout the Nationals.
Shelton joins fellow Darling Downs products Dan Farr (15U School-Boys, 2003) and Shaleise Law (U18 Youth girls, 2014) to receive All Australian honours.
