AFL Sydney Women's Round 11 Rising Star

The Round 11 AFL Sydney Womens Rising Star nominee is Hayat Ajaj from Auburn Giants.

Hayat has never played competitive sport or watched an AFL game before joining the Auburn Giants.

From her first game, she dominated her opponents, taking big marks and kicking goals.　

She is a natural athlete. Despite being petite, she is fearless and puts her body on the line.　In her second game she dislocated her shoulder. However her dedication and commitment allowed her to successfully return on the weekend and she didn't miss a beat, again taking marks and kicking a goal.　

With more game time under her belt Hayat is the player to watch in the Giants forward line.
