Good Luck to our U19 & U15 teams heading nationals
This Wednesday July 16th Our U19 and U15 teams will begin their crusade towards a national title. The U19 nationals are being held in Nelson and U15’s in Wellington.
The U19 Girls team, coached by Justine Reed will be looking to go one better than last year where they were placed 2nd in 2013.
Our U19 boys team, placed 2nd at the northern qualifying tournament, the team has had a good build up to nationals. They competed in Hawkes Bay over Queen’s Birthday which was very beneficial for the team.
Three Harbour U15 teams will head to Wellington this week. Both Girls and Boys A teams as well as the Girls B team.
Morgan Maskell’s U15 Boys A team has dominated in Zone 1 all year and hopes they can continue their success all the way to a national title.
The U15 girls A team have been improving all year and finished 3rd in the Qualifying tournament in May. Their coach Bronwen Davidson will be doing all she can to compete for the championship.
Our U15 B girls qualified in 5th spot and will be looking for a couple of wins during the tournament but ultimately to gain experience for the future.
