Just under a 100 children enjoyed this weeks July School Holiday basketball camp at Centennial Hall. Under the coaching guidance of IMS Payroll Hawks Coaches and players, representative coaches and players. Former Tall Black and international Coach Tab Baldwin has been an interested advisor and observer at the camp.

The Basketball Hawkes Bay Holiday camps are hosted each school holiday break under Head Coach Clifton Bush. The camps attract around a 100 players aged  from 5 to 16 years for a weekof basketball skills, games nad competitions with a fun but serious theme.

The campers learn much more than basketball over the week particularly the benefits of disclipline, hard work, self confidence, team work and leadership to positive outcomes.

The camp finished on Fridaywith prize giving at 3.00 pm
