It may have taken nearly 5 years but for the first time in their family history the three Carpenter boys have all played on the same football field and all for the same club.
Joe, Ben and Tim Carpenter all played for the first time as a trio against Highfields in round 5 this season. Though they didn't share in a victory together, they got to do what not many others do and that is play footy together as one.
Youngster of the three, Tim, was among the Tigers best for the clash and no doubt has let his brothers know of his impressive feats.
Joe the oldest of the trio started his footy career in 2010 and transferred in 2012 where he played 10-games in the Tigers third straight premiership. Ben played juniors with the Lockyer Valley Demons and also was a part of the 2012 premiership with the Darling Downs Crows before he decided he wanted to play footy with Joe last year.
Tim the youngest, played all of his junior footy with the Demons and represented the Darling Downs with numerous talent sides but decided that he wanted to play with his brothers and has since the start of the season worn yellow and black.
Tim also boasts the most career games at club level, with the talented 17-year old closing in on the magical 100 games. He (Tim) also boasts the highest tally of goals but eldest brother Joe averages more goals per game.
All three brothers are playing a pivotal role at Toowoomba AFC and the Tigers hope the Carpenter trio around for many years to come, and win a premiership together.
