15- Matthew Edwins
Club: Campbelltown
Previous: Campbelltown (2007-10), Balmain (2001), Sydney Hills Eagles (2012)
Age: 24
Position: Half-Forward Flank
Analysis:
There are few more dangerous players with ball in hand than Edwins. Always a noted ball user, Edwins has been grown his goal scoring tally in the last few years to be one of the first players opposition coaches look to shut down.
He kicked 102 goals across two season in 2012 in the NEAFL and in 2013 on his return to Campbelltown.
In the first eleven matches this season, he has 25 goals to his name in a side sitting in the bottom third of the ladder. He is a noted leader with undisputed talent- not only in the air but also when the ball is on the ground in a contested situation.
He represented AFL Sydney in 2011 and 2013 and has played over 150 first grade games which is amazing given his age.
