Coolaroo are coming off a confidence boosting victory of Toowoomba last week, while the Bombers are coming off the bye.
Both sides should be relatively fresh, with both in similar form. Bombers are coming off two big wins against the top of the table Redback's but have only played those two games in the last month of footy. The Roo's on the other hand are coming off three victories two which were done at ease, with the other pushing the navy blues to the limit.
Phil Dreise and Adam Green are the two in-form players for the Roo's with both prolific goal-kickers over the last few weeks. Dreise booted 11 and Green 7 in their last outing.
For the Bombers they are back to playing team orientated footy and reaping the benefits. Jeff Neumann and Mark Lorenzo have been the two key players behind the red and black resurgence and no doubt the Roo's coaching staff will be keeping a close eye on the two key midfielders.
Last time these two sides met was in Round 2, under lights with the Roo's sneaking home in the dying minutes by just 6-points.
This will be the Bombers first visit to Bridgman Oval in the division 1 competition, with the Roo's playing numerous fixtures at the central downs venue. Sides can get stuck out on the wings and prefer to play the corridor and move the sherrin quickly.
Spectators can expect to see a-lot of goals in this blockbuster as both sides like to move the footy quickly.
Roo's ruckman Corin Sankey will be the key in this encounter and up and coming star Sam Zilm will need to be on top of his game if he is to take the points against Sankey. A game worth the trip out to Pittsworth to watch.
In the other weekend's fixtures Warwick will host Toowoomba at Reddies Oval. Tigers will be looking to bounce back after their disappointing defeat in round 10. Warwick hit their straps last week and will be keen to continue their winning form.
2013 Holman Medallist Kurt Millard is the key to the Redback's side, as is veteran Michael O'Donoghue and spiritual leader Luke Adams for the Tigers. Both sides have a mountain of youth and it will be interesting to see which clubs youth has developed the most so far.
In the final match of Round 11, arch rivals of the 80's and 90's will go into battle once again as the high flying Hawks face the University Cougars.
The road-trip to Riddles Oval is the toughest in the competition and even harder when the Goondiwindi boys are on-song. University will be looking to the likes of Gniel, Reilly, Balnaves, Howard and Pyke to continue to lead the way.
For Goondiwindi O'Toole, Townsend and Leahy will play an important role, as will number 1 goal-scorer Brenton Jardine.
The Hawks are nipping at the heels of the Bombers in 4th place and a victory over the Cougars, with South Toowoomba facing Coolaroo, could see the Hawks enter the top 4. For the Cougars a win will see them remain in atleast second a loss and they could slip back to third.
