Leanne Gillbard and Brigid Gaur have led the Dalby Swans to an emphatic victory over Coolaroo, as the Swans strengthened their position in the top 4.
Gillbard booted 4-majors in a career personal best haul, as the silkiness and aggression of Gaur set up the Swans a numerous occasions moving forward. The final margin of 48-points was lucky not to be larger but a credit to the Roo's defensive group who repelled a number of the Swans attacking raids.
For the Roos Shonnie Skehan was the best with the young star controlling most of the footy of the navy blues.
The win see the Swans sit a game and half shy of the Roo's in second place, Coolaroo however have two extra games on the Dalby ladies and will be looking to results to go their way if they are to keep their grip on their spot on the ladder.
In the other Blackchrome Cup fixture, Goondiwindi have defeated the 2013 Grand-finalists Lockyer Valley by 99 points at Cahill Park.
The win was an all-round team performance by the Hawkies with Dianne Naismith bagging four goals in the dominate display by the Goondiwindi forward. Hawks midfielder Jessica Bell had another impressive game and ran riot in the round 10 encounter.
For the Demons, Kim Davison battled all day and impressed in just her 6th game of Australian Rules.
