17's into Finals at Waverley
Both of our LYVNA 17U Rep teams are into the finals at Waverley Netball Centre.
Our 17-1's finished top of the ladder in 17U Premier 1 after defeating Wavettes in the last round. Coming from 6 goals down at 3/4 time, a strong come back in the last quarter saw them get over the line by 1.
The 17-2's cemented their spot in the top 4 with a 6 goal win over 2nd place Mountain District.
This is the first time LYVNA have qualified for the finals in the 17U Premier competitions at Waverley Netball Centre so to have 2 teams qualify in the one season is a testament to the talent of this group of girls.
Both finals are next Wednesday at 6:00pm at Waverley. Hopefully we have a big croud attend cheering on our teams.
