Saturday night footy returns to the region with South Toowoomba hosting the table topping Redback's in the Bombers inaugural Starlight Challenge match.
It is a big day for the Bombers raising much needed funds for the Starlight Foundation but an even bigger day as the red and black look to back up their 18-point victory 2-weeks ago against Warwick with another win.
With the game scheduled to start at 7:00pm, both sides will be on full show and no doubt a few interested on-lookers coming down for the match of the round.
Dan McPhee led the Bombers to the round 8 upset victory booting 8-majors in a dominate display up forward. South Toowoomba led at every stage, in a game they were meant to lose.
Warwick will again come into this game as red-hot favourites and deserve that tag. With the likes of Iles, Millard, Tate, Cutmore, Stevenson and co, the Redback's are a genuine premiership contender with the Bombers on the fringes.
The difference between the two sides last time they met, was one side played for each other and the other didn't
Warwick are the number 1 attacking side in the competition and that comes down to their midfielders pushing forward and backing themselves to kick long team lifting goals. The Reddies currently have four players in the double digits for goals kicked this season and come up against the Bombers who only have two players recording double digit tallies.
The Bombers spoiled the Redback's party two weeks ago and no doubt Warwick will look to spoil the Bombers biggest day of the year.
If the last few encounters are anything to go by, this is sure to come down to the wire.
