The Dalby Swans will host the Lockyer Valley Demons in the first ever AFL Darling Downs women's fixture at the Swans home ground on Owen Street.
Dalby currently sit third, with the Demons tied on 8points as well sitting in fourth on percentage.
Both teams will be looking to get ahead of fifth placed Goondiwindi chipping away at their heels. Dalby are coming off their biggest win in their short history for the Blackchrome Cup, after 20-goal victory over the Hawks in round 8.
The Demons ladies haven't played since round 6, when they went down to an impressive Roo's outfit and no doubt will be ready to go.
When these two sides last met, Dalby came away with the four premiership points as star player and joint 2013 Heather Green Medallist Danielle Wall booted 5 goals in a best on ground performance. Carissa Taylor and Monique Gould were the two standout Demons in the round 2 encounter.
The Swans girls will be fired up for their first match at home in their inaugural season, the key for the Demons is to silence the Dalby faithful.
In the only other match for the round reigning premiers South Toowoomba will host the sixth placed Redback's on Souths, Bombers Starlight Day. The Warwick ladies will be looking for a much improved showing this time after the Bombers ran riot in Round 8.
