Glenn Morley and Jesse Bowland Curtis from the Bayswater Lacrosse Club and Hannah Barnsley, Elizabeth Hinkes and Matt Diver from the Wembley Lacrosse Club received the distinguished award for being the best players in the both men’s and women’s championship.
The top ten players from all teams participating in the National Championship are selected by votes collated throughout the tournament by coaches and umpires from all states.
Despite the dynamic five being recognised, this was not WA’s year at the National Championships.

West Australian Goal Keeper, Elizabeth Hinkes said, “It is a real honour to be named in the Australia All Stars team. Every single one of the players selected are incredible athletes and it is a real privilege to be named in this group with them.”
This tournament was one of the final preparations for Matt Diver and who will depart Perth at the end of June to start his World Cup campaign which will be held in Denver, Colorado in July.
Morley, Diver and Hinkes have already represented in Australia and Barnsley England in World Championships.
