With a super Saturday of footy at Reddies Oval with some of our best taking on Northern Rivers (U14/16) and the QAFL Amateurs (Men's), five of the regions best footballers will be preparing for representative action.
Brendan Iles (Warwick), David O'Toole (Goondiwindi), Jade Hose (Coolaroo), Georgie Seaniger (South Toowoomba) and Isabelle Baldock (South Toowoomba) will be representing the Darling Downs but at the new AFLQ facility Burpengary this Sunday 8th June.
Iles and O'Toole have been selected in the South Queensland men's side to take on North Queensland in the first of the State triple headers.
Hose, Seaniger and Baldock will play in the final game of the day in the Female All-Stars game. The trio will all play for the AFLQ Gold Coast SUNS side against the AFLQ Brisbane Lions, as the States top 44 female players go head to head.
All five will be vying for selection in the respective State sides, with Queensland selectors watching closely.
Another link for the day will be Development Coordinator and Western Bulldogs AFC women's assistant coach Jeff Neumann, coach the Downs trio in the AFLQ Gold Coast SUNS side.

It is an action packed weekend of footy across Queensland for DD players with our Under 12 side contesting the State Championships in Townsville.
