AFL Darling Downs men's representative coach Nick Barkers has named the 2014 Darling Downs talent squad for the upcoming representative game in Warwick on Saturday 7th June.
Barker is excited by the upcoming representative game and said it is an absolute pleasure to be named the 2014 men's representative coach.
"It gives me great pleasure to be appointed the Representative Coach for the Darling Downs for this year’s clash on the 7th of June," Barker told AFLDD media.
"I’ve managed to get around to a lot of the club games this year as a spectator and in some instances as a player or coach.
"The quality of the players we have in this region is amazing and something we should all be proud of."
Coach Nick Barker has named a squad of 39 to be cut down to a final 22 in the week leading up to the game, after the once off training session at Rockville Oval on Tuesday 3rd June.
"The players that I have initially selected from the City v Country clash to partake in the final selection which will be held on Tuesday the 3rd of June," Barker said.
"Final selection will consist of training and a small modified game."
