Western Pride continued their inconsistent run of form this season, falling 4-0 to Harimau Muda ‘A’ at Briggs Road Complex on Saturday night in Ipswich.

Three first half goals from Ferris Danial Mat Nasir, Mohamad Ridzuam Abdunloh Pula and Muhamad Faizat Mohamad Ghazli put Harimau on course for the win with a second goal from Abdunloh Pula rounding out the result in the second half.

Pride threatened early courtesy of Lincoln Rule’s free kick before Peter Hinks headed wide for the hosts.

Harimau soon settled and on 12 minutes opened the scoring when Mat Nasir received a long ball and skipped over Pride goalkeeper Andres Pascoe.

Pride continued to create chances as another Rule free kick eluded striker Peter Drager and Hinks forced Harimau Muda goalkeeper Damien Lim Chien Khai into a diving save.

Harimau doubled their advantage on 23 minutes as Abdunloh Pula scored his first with a strong header past Pascoe.

The Pride shotstopper was caught off his line just after the half hour by Mohamad Ghazli, who lofted a right footed shot from outside the box to secure the visitors a three goal half time advantage.

Pride were still unable to convert their chances with Drager and Jeye Comerford trying their luck unsuccessfully.

Milan Sekulic created an early chance for Pride after the restart, skipping past three defenders into the box before squaring to Drager who was unable to find the net.

A resulting corner saw Kwang Mook Lim receiving the ball just outside the box and forcing Lim Chien Khai into a fingertip save.

Five minutes later, Abdunloh rounded out the result with a powerful shot past Pascoe.

Drager continued to persist without reward as Comerford and Drager were again denied by the goalkeeper.

Ultimately, Harimau Muda held their clean sheet and moved into fifth in the standings ahead of Redlands United on goal difference.

Western Pride remain in second last place with two wins so far this season.

Western Pride 0
Harimau Muda 'A' 4 (Ferris Danial Mat Nasir 13', Mohamad Ridzuam Abdunloh Pula 23' 59', Muhamad Faizat Mohamad 34')
