AFL Sydney Women's Round 5 Rising Star

The AFL Sydney Women’s Round 5 Rising Star nominee is Kimberly Chan of Wollongong Saints.

As a Northern District Tigers junior, Kim has been a commodity to every team she has played with. Tough on the ball and not intimidated by girls twice her size, Kim has a tenacity on and off the ball to envy. Kim's debut season with the Wollongong Saints, although still new has been nothing short of one to keep an eye on.　

Winning the club's best on ground in round 5, Kim proved why she has quickly become an asset to the Saints half back line and centers. Kim has also represented NSW in the Youth Girls Nationals competition and her skills and expertise have been a welcomed presence into our team.
