The AFL Sydney Round 7 Rising Star nominee is Brad Watson of Pennant Hills.
Brad played his junior footy predominately at the Westbrook Junior AFL club, one of the three key feeder clubs into Pennant Hills Seniors. He made numerous representative sides and has been a member of the Swans Academy from the start of his football career.
Brad played Under 18’s Rams in 2013, as a bottom age player, and was named as best player in most games he played. In 2013 he was an integral part of the midfield for Pennant Hills 2013 Under 18 Division One premiership winning the 2013 Players Player Award from his teammates.
Brad returned to the Senior Side after 2 weeks with the NSW Rams team and was named in the best after an outstanding game against Sydney Hills Eagles on Saturday. Brad has exceptional skills and combines the hardness of an inside player with the skills, poise and decision making of a quality outside player. We look forward to seeing Brad as part of the Pennant Hills senior side for many years, or at the highest possible level he is able to achieve.
