The Round Three AFL Sydney Rising Star is Theo Moraitis of Pennant Hills.
Theo started playing juniors at Pennant Hills in Under 12’s in 2006. He generally played up a year during his career, winning numerous individual awards and playing in two Under 14’s premiership sides. In his last year of junior footy he moved to Holroyd Parramatta and played in an U16’s premiership.
He then followed in his Dad’s and two older brothers footsteps and joined Pennant Hills seniors. Theo was an integral part of the U18’s Division One premiership side last year, generally taking the opposition’s best forward and organising the backline.
After a solid pre-season Theo made his Premier Division debut in round one this year, his jumper presented by club stalwart Gus McKernan. Theo has a great mark, proven through his numerous pack marks and attacks the ball extremely hard, clearing the path for others.
