AFL Victoria wishes to advise of the following fixture changes for Round 3 of the Peter Jackson VFL this weekend.
Due to the redevelopment of facilities at Punt Road Oval having not been completed prior to Richmond's first home game, their fixtured Round 3 match versus Williamstown has been moved to Burbank Oval.
AFL Victoria is working with Richmond to ensure the redevelopment requirements are met prior to their next scheduled game in Round 5 against Geelong on May 4.
This game was the ABC TV scheduled match for the round, and due to time constraints, ABC has been forced to change their broadcast game to Port Melbourne versus Werribee Tigers. This is due to the extra resources needed to broadcast from Burbank Oval, which are not able to be sourced at this late stage.
See below the fixture changes for this weekend:
Seniors:
- The Match between Richmond Tigers and Williamstown has been moved to Burbank Oval and will now commence at 12.15pm. The match now becomes Williamstown (home jumper, dark shorts) v Richmond Tigers (alternate jumper, white shorts) and will remain on Saturday April 19th
- The Match between Port Melbourne and Werribee Tigers will now become the ABC TV game and will commence at 1.10pm. The match will remain at North Port Oval on Saturday April 19th
