The Sydney Harbour Region is calling for Expressions of Interest for Representative Coaches & Managers – in U13, U14, U15 and U17 age groups.

We need your clubs help to fill these 21 positionsby, 5pm, Thursday 24^th April 2014

2014 Representative carnival details (Full details will be sent by GSJ)

The Carnival will be held during the July School Holidays over 4 days:

Venue: Mike Kenny Oval, Cheerybrook

Tuesday 8th　 July – Under 14’s (run by Syd Hbr Regional Committee)
Wednesday 9th　 July – Under 17’s
Thursday 10th July – Under 15’s
Friday 11th July – Under 13’s

Representative By Laws

23.1 The AFL GSJ Representative program (True Age Carnival) is structured as follows, or as determined from time to time by the Board
The Carnival will involve U 13/14/15/17‟s.
All players must be rotated through different zones/positions.
Eight weeks before the determined date for the carnival competing Regions will commence appointing Coaches and staff.
Six weeks before the Carnival non AFL Academy nominated Players may start training as a group.
The AFL Academies will invite Representative Coaches to attend Academy training to oversee those Players from their Region they may consider for their Representative team. In addition Academy Coaches will be able to work with the Representative Coaches on up-skilling.

It is expected that our Representative Coaches will take up the invitations.

In the last two weeks before the Carnival, Academy Players selected in the Representative squad and Non Academy Players will train together. In the last 2 weeks before the Carnival Academy Players chosen will be excused from Academy requirements.

Current Swans Academy Training/Player Schedule, - Academy Players are available on these days for the week beginning 23^rd June (The final week of Term 2 Academy program):

U13 – Tuesday, Thursday & Friday

U14 – Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday

U15 – Tuesday, Thursday & Friday

U16 – Wednesday

U17 – Wednesday
