Our Lady of the Southern Cross College sports coordinator Mr. Tim Lincoln is currently leading the Primary School Teachers Ambassador program and is out to secure his second title.
The last time Lincoln took out the award was in 2011 when he was awarded the top honour in the State.
Tim has done fantastic work in the western Downs region of Dalby, where he has contributed heavily to break down the historically strong rugby league culture in the small country town. Lincoln continues to assist in the coordination of the annual Dalby Swans Cup with large team numbers coming from his school, eleven in total this year.
Along with his schools participation, Tim runs numerous intra-school AFL programs including Lion Hearted Leaders, lunchtime competitions, representative programs to name a few.
Mr. Lincoln however has sports teacher Alistair Aston from Fairview Heights State School to watch with Aston only a mere 125points behind.
With both schools planning to be involved in a number of AFL Queensland programs, the race is on for the top honours. The next update will be released at the end of Term 2, can Tim take home his second title or can Alistair take out the top honours for the first time?
