McDonald's Shield Under 12's
In the game of the round, reigning premiers Coolaroo have been outclassed by a hard running South Toowoomba outfit. The Bombers retained the Michael Barr Cup, which is awarded to the winning side everytime Coolaroo and South Toowoomba play in the memory of Michael who played a pivotal role in the development and growth of juniors at the two clubs.
It was the Bombers defensive rebound game which stood out most, keeping the premiers to only five scoring shots for the game while South Toowoomba had an impressive 22 shots on goal.
South Toowoomba proved Heritage Oval is going to be a fortress and hard for all visiting sides as they sliced the Roo's open throughout the match. Bombers ran out 13.9 (87) to 3.2 (20) victors.

McDonald's Trophy Under 14's
Reigning Premiers Coolaroo travelled across town to face South Toowoomba also in the game of the round but this time in the Trophy. It was again the underdog who got up when South Toowoomba ran out 26point victors at Heritage Oval.
The Bombers girls were the difference and in particular young up and coming star Georgia Osborne, who was very dangerous inside South Toowoomba forward fifty. South Toowoomba jumped out of the blocks early with two goals and kept the Roo's scoreless for the first term.
Both sides went goal from goal from here on in but the Bombers were too strong in the end running out 8.4 (52) to 4.2 (26) victors.

McDonald's Cup Under 16's
A Jack Fletcher and Anthony Hansen inspired Redback's defeated Toowoomba in the Under 16 match of the round at Rockville Oval. Hansen and Fletcher booted 7 between them and no doubt Anthony Hansen picked up the three best and fairest votes from the umpire.
Warwick's all round discipline and movement of the footy was outstanding and proved to be the real difference on game day.
Overall it was the first quarter that put the Tigers on the back foot, as the Reddies recorded 9 of their 26 shots on goal in the opening exchanges. Toowoomba however showed signs that they will be a force to watch throughout the season with their tackling pressure and high efficiency by hand and foot. Warwick ran out 12.14 (86) to 6.4 (40) victors.
