Special visit for SEDA students
Last week saw the Central SEDA Perth Glory class have a special visit from Chris Beech, Football West's National Premier Leagues WA manager.
The program offers year 11 and 12 students an engaging curriculum within the Sport & Rec industry. Students create pathways for their future into employment or further study.
Beech took the time to stop by the Loftus center and have an open forum with the Central class, giving an inside perspective of the new NPL WA.
The class were very fortunate to have a one-on-one opportunity with Beech and dive into his world of experience in the sport and recreation field, where he has worked at the 2012 London Olympics and 2013 Australian Masters Games.
Beech said it was fantastic to meet the next generation of sports administrators.
"There were some great questions from the class and I am looking forward to working with many of them in the near future," he said.
"Some of the SEDA students will be helping out in many aspects of the NPL in 2014 and will assist in many areas of the backroom setup to gain some great work experience.
