The Auburn GIANTS AFC will stand tall with their community at their annual family fun day at Mona Park Oval on Saturday 5 April 2014.
This community initiative aims to showcase the talent of the women’s AFL teams and to foster community spirit by creating an inclusive environment for all.
The Auburn GIANTS, who recently announced a partnership with The Greater Western Sydney GIANTS AFL Team have had some expert training from GWS midfielder Dylan Shiel and Auburn GIANTS ambassador and are eager to show off their new skills to the community.
The Auburn GIANTS encourage the community to bring the family down to Mona Park to join in some great activities, including a bake sale and fantastic stalls hosted by local businesses. There will also be loads of fun activities for the kids including a jumping castle, henna and face painting commencing at 9:30am.
The Family Fun Day is in line with the club’s vision to not only kick goals on the footy field but to be accepted beyond the boundary line, by the local community and other AFL clubs.
All funds raised from the Family Fun Day activities will support the club in their future endeavors.
The event is proudly sponsored by local businesses and community organizations including, The Lebanese Muslim Association, At Fitness Guildford, Dolly’s Bootcamp, Greenacre Sports Medicine Clinic, Fresh Poultry, Flower Innovations and Bootyque Bootcamp.
