Churchill United Seeking Female Players
After an extended period of dominance in the Gippsland Soccer League Central Senior Women's competition the club has become a victim of its own success with our home grown talent seeking out stronger competition at other clubs in higher leagues.
This exodus effectively leaves the club without a women's team leading into the season.
We wish the departing ladies well, but we also see the opportunity to enter a team more in line with the relative fledgling status of the GSL women's competition.
The club is seeking any interested women who would like to play at Churchill in 2014 in a ALL NEW TEAM with the emphasis on having fun, building friendship and improving skills.
To gauge interest a meeting will be held next Thursday March 6th at the clubrooms commencing at 7pm.
The more laid back approach for the coming season will see training scheduled Wednesday evenings and games on late Saturday afternoon or Sunday mornings.
We are also seeking a coach OR a past player who would be willing to be a leader.
Past, new or inexperienced players are all welcome.

The club is also looking for junior players. Training is on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 4:30-530 (Miniroos Thursdays only)
